So he shouldn't call out Davis? Maybe that's why it shouldn't happen.

What doesn't make sense to me is: If nobody with a name would fight you, what's your excuse for not fighting no names, like your mandatories? Do something, no?

        Gary has become irrelevant.
Exactly, if none of the big names are willing to fight you then keep yourself active still, if you fight bums then you should be fighting multiple times a year. Until some of the bigger names steps up.

I honestly don't blame Haymon for his inactivity. Maybe there's something we are not aware of. Could it be Gary Russell is hard to negotiate with? Does he outprice himself? I don't know.

Russell wanted to fight Crawford too. There shouldn't be an iota of excuse or sympathy once he's destroyed. No size, no nothing.

Both of you made me curious about the origin of Kumbaya. Never realized the story of the song, Interesting article here about it:
The soulful folk song, born in the low country of South Carolina, has migrated from representing strength and power in togetherness to reflecting weakness and wimpiness. Somehow, it's morphed into a cynical code word.

Eh he gots to spin it. He's running out of time. And PBC guys doesn't have a promoter in the same way other guys got a promoter. There isn't much talking up PBC guys by a promoter. Lou was the only one really til he fell out with PBC. But basically that means PBC guys gotta act as their own promoter & spinmaster.

I've heard Tim Smith say GRJ fights infrequently cuz of hand issues a million times so I'mma assume that's what it is.
