If you are fighting once a year then you are with the wrong team. They are meant to be pushing you, getting you fights and keeping you active. If that isn’t the case then the team aren’t for you and you aren’t for them.

Yeah, reading the article I remembered the same comment. I think he mentioned that and his hand issues as the reasons for fighting so infrequently in the lead-up to the JoJo Diaz fight.

Look Gary, you think you’re only fighting 1 time a year now, you fight Gervonta that may be it with your career. We seen you lose to Lomachenko and struggled with your last fight. Gervonta is on another level, your little ass bitten off more than you can chew but I love the talking you an Amir Khan cut from the same type of cloth!

Once a year defending a title he won from a b class champ vs c class foes. There's a lot wrong here that's hard to miss. He lost in his only challenge and never tried to step up again. Tank flattens him and won't get any credit. For what? Loma leftovers?
