Not sure what Hearn has to do with it ? But let’s stick to facts , the fact is WBC doesn’t go by rankings either . They can appoint anyone in the top 10 as a mandatory. The article isn’t about WBC sanctions,it’s about waiting on Matchroom to get confirmation to sanction the fight which they FACTUALLY did at some point so you don’t even know what you’re reading here and it’s an October article,surely your trolling now ? And they wouldn't have gotten verification because it was to close to the KO & Whyte wouldn't be cleared by WBC medical rules. Leeway with rankings is one thing but you can lose your sanctioning license playing with medicals.

The fact that Hearn didn't try to get it sanctioned should tell you all you need to know.

Only thing I heard about this fight was an Eddie Hearn public offer. Nothing other than that. But since everyone is saying Hunter is ducking him then let's move on and make the fight against Whyte instead of focusing on a guy that's supposedly ducking him

Two sides to every story and I like Hunter but for whatever reason, he doesn't seem to want to fight Hrgovic. I really want to see that fight.
