And if he & Shakur have the relationship they both used to claim to have then it's more than money to Ward. More than his broadcasting money & Shakur money. The whole logic of the situation doesn't add up because it's only two fights, maybe 3, the whole year. And it's not even the whole broadcast just the one Shakur fight on the broadcast
Yeah agree! It is a very confusing situation but Shakur saying "That Is A Question You Have To Ask Him"...seems like a Decision that Ward made on his own. It is all speculation! Even seeing some suggest that Ward might be setting up a comeback but he says he is done

Ward isn't coming back. He tried to cash out his insurance policy saying his knee injury prevents him from ever fighting again. If he fights again that's insurance fraud

Speculation regarding Andre Ward’s comeback apparently is just that. BoxingScene.com has learned through court documents it has obtained that Ward and former promoter Roc Nation Sports are plaintiffs in a lawsuit against Lloyds Of London. They seek $6.3 million because they allege the prominent insurance company has failed to honor the terms of his policy after he suffered a career-ending injury to his right knee.

I know the story, I read J Prince's book and am familiar with his story. I meant that he was the one who went to HBO and renegotiated Floyd's "slave contract" to get him bigger purses right before the Corrales fight.

The latter post is about right. But I think j prince helped him get out of top rank which may have had something to do with him owing prince

No. Arum bought J Prince out from Floyd. Remember J Prince goons came to the Top Rank gym beating people up? Floyd ran to Arum asking him to pay James Prince. Floyd was eventually bought out of TR with the help of Haymon

                You're right.

Except floyd apparently had a provision in his top rank contract to buy himself out. Which is what it says he did according to some articles I found
