I'm usually pretty bored while watching his fights... but I can say I hate the 'who has he fought to deserve a fight with Canelo or GGG' narrative. He is a champion... SIMPLE AS THAT. I just want to see the champions fight. He deserves a big fight for the simple fact that he is a champion.

They're both scared to death of Andrade.

Canelo knows that Andrade is levels above Lara and Trout, and he's probably on par with Mayweather.

Canelo doesn't want to catch that type of work again. We all know what time it is.

GGG ducked Andrade Ward. Andrade has proven to be better than Ward. You really think he's going to fight Andrade after ducking Ward for years?

Curious you don't use quote - but whatever.

He needs to test himself against step up. Right now, he's around the C level.

Why not fight a B-level? Like...Quillin? He fought in late 2019, he could do a 2021. Or do an eliminator with Eubank Jr? He needs a fight.

If Andrade fought someone like Eubank and beat him CLEARLY, it would go a long way.

Yup. And then they say "he's a paper champion". Which fighters in the last 25 years got their title vs a top 10 fighter? Almost every good fighter starts their career off with a paper title.

Exactly. There are too many fighters that have belts right now because they fought for a vacant title, as oppose to taking the belt from a champion.

I agree but it's not like those guys are rushing to get in the ring with him. He aggressively went after Lara back in the day but that fight didn't get made.

Not saying he's p4p or anything like that but based on the eye test I def think he has the potential to be p4p #1. These guys all know he's a risky fight.

I don't get how you can be high risk low reward when that reward is a world title.

He's a 2 weight world champion and his best wins are close fights against Vanes and Culcay.

We wlll know why, word titles don't mean anything today, there are too many of them, too many weight classes, and too many #1 contenders who don't deserve to be.
