    Please stop overhyping Demetrius Andrade

Currently 33 years old. Andrade's resume from 2010 to Present:

    Luke Keeler
    Maciej Sulęcki
    Artur Akavov
    Walter Kautondokwa
    Alantez Fox
    Jack Culcay
    Willie Nelson
    Dario Fabian Pucheta
    Brian Rose
    Vanes Martirosyan
    Freddy Hernández
    Alexis Hloros
    Rudy Cisneros
    Ángel Hernández
    Saul Duran
    Grady Brewer
    Omar Bell
    Alberto Herrera
    Dave Saunders
    Geoffrey Spruiell
    Bernardo Guereca

11 years of bum fights and mediocrity. With one top name which he sc****d by and pulled out of fighting Charlo in December 2014, because he is clearly The Golden Boy, who should get more money for being so known and popular and being an obvious box office seller. Also has so much power, out of the 28 mediocre fighters and journeymen he fought, he managed to knock out a whopping 18 of them. If you're going to fight below average fighters, at least knock them out, excite the fans a bit. Make the most out of your mediocrity. This guy fights mediocre fighters and gives bland, generic, mediocre performances.

From the current fighters of 115lbs to Heavyweight, Demetrius Andrade has by far the worst resume of any major title holder. Please stop mentioning him vs top fighters. He's really not proven much of anything against anyone. Couldn't even set himself apart from Vanes' level.

I find it disgraceful and immoral that people have the audacity to criticize the resumes of people with less money and power in boxing, because the people with the money and power are afraid to fight them. Absotluely immoral.

Maybe you would have said he'd deserve the fight with Canelo if he'd went life and death with Sulecki? You know, the way Danny Jacobs did and got the Canelo fight as a result? Sorry that Andrade dropped him and absolutely toyed with him for 12 rounds.

And Vanes in his prime as a great fighter. He gave Lara and Mell all sorts of trouble but Demetrius looked the best by far out of all of Vanes opponents at that time.

The bottom line is this. Andrade's resume is what it is cuz he was shamelessly ducked by Canelo at 154 for many many years. And the other top guys at 54, Lara wanted no part of him, how many guys out there were begging to fight Lara except Andrade. Canelo chose to fight bums like Kirkland, Liam Smith, JCC JR instead of Andrade. And then he was shamelessly ducked by GGG when he went to 160. GGG could have fought a champion in Andrade but he chose to fight Steve Rolls and this Kamal guy instead Disgraceful.

If this fight is so easy for your favorite fighter (IDK if Canelo or GGG), you should insist that the fight happen. But we all know what time it is.

Give him a big fight and see what happens. He is high risk low reward.

          100% agreed.

Librado Andrade is being ducked to death.

After what he did to Vanes, that's when the ducking started. Charlo pulled out of a fight vs Andrade back in 2014. Everybody forgot that. Boxing fans are funny to me honestly. This guy -kev- is just spewing lies.

Actually I see the opposite. Quite a few people saying Canelo's ducking him despite nobody he's faced showing me why I should believe this. He hasn't been tested - just like Crawford hasn't been tested.

It's unfortunate too, because I WANT to see them tested so I can know if they're legit. But both guys refuse to test themselves.

It's kind of like Billy Juice Saunders.

It's the Boo Boo hate train. Wonder how well the OP would do with Andrade's past competition. Lol

Who would he test himself against? Canelo and GGG make the most sense but neither guy wants anything to do with him.

Not good at all. He'd go in there and get KO'ed in the 1st round versus all of them.

All of these fans and journalists need to go away with their criticism of fighters resumes honestly. Only speak positively of their resumes. If you think you can go through Andrade's resume undefeated, then turn pro, go undefeated, and then come back to boxingscene to give your opinions.

Honestly fans just need to go away altogether. They need to stop watching boxing if they have never laced em up.

Boxingscene.com should actually increase their sign up standards. Members need to verify that they have at least 10 amateur fights. Members with not amateur fights should be watched closely in case they criticize a boxer, they get perma banned.
