So what if Pacman has no interest in Spence?

It's all about Spence Vs Pacquiao and then maybe if we are all good boys and girls Spence may, just may, think about fighting Crawford.

But from all I hear or read from Pacquiao is about fighting Conor McGregor. He doesn't appear to be prioritising Spence at all and I'm not sure uncle Al has the powers to brainwash Manny like he is with some of the gullible goons over at the PBC.

SOOOOOOOO, if that doesn't happen is there really any point in delaying the Crawford fight? Plenty to wrestle out on the monetary front but nothing will get sorted until they sit down and talk about it.

I highly doubt Pacquaio fights Spence and he definitely won’t fight Crawford.

That’s why Spence is getting vocal on a Canelo bout. He must feel like the Pacquiao fight wont happen and needs something to protect him from Crawford. Haymon is likely lining up Ugas for him next.

Arum say’s the cold war is over. But I won’t believe it till an example is made. Still looks like to me the PBC champs aren’t allowed to risk their belts to the outsiders.

Pac-Man should vacate the WBA and let Crawford vs Spence happen for undisputed.

could still see a thurman fight...thurman coming off a loss but it was an entertaining and competitive loss....thurman is still a known name...maybe an interim fight for thurman and spence then meet later in 2021....would be my guess...it seems like alot of people sort of dismiss that possibilty and im not sure why

yeah the cold war isnt over and it wont ever really be

its only put aside when both sides need each other....like fury/wilder....when theres enough money to be made and its a big fight.....otherwise they wont really want to to business with each other unless they have ....if bud waits it out spence will need him soon...maybe not in 2021...but probably 2022...and it will come together

And Fury Wilder was contracted for the rematch. TR was slipped in by Fury.

PBC is yet to show any initiative in making a fight with anyone. They wouldn’t even do it with Charlo vs Canelo unless they could keep Canelo contracted. It has nothing to do with a big fight, and everything to do with creating their UFC model.

If no Manny then that is why Spence is positioning himself for Canelo.

You claim to be a boxing fan. If so, set aside your hate for Haymon and pbc and look at this rationally.

Crawford doesn’t move the needle sales wise and doesn’t have charisma or personality. For him to get the money he wants to fight Spence, Spence’s name is likely what has to drive ppv sales.

As we sit here today, Spence’s name isn’t big enough for that. If he were to beat manny or canelo then he surely gets a bump that just might bring in enough casual fans that the fight makes big enough money for everyone to get paid.

Being a “boxing fan” isn’t his about calling for fights to happen. It’s about being realistic about how big fights get made in the current environment.

and fury didnt take the immediate rematch wilder wanted and took not one, but two, interim fights.....they worked out the rematch because it was the biggest and best fights for them.....wilder didnt really want an ortiz rematch he wanted fury immediately....but was forced to find something decent in the interim

arum and the pbc will work whenever its big enough for them to both make money and its a big fight....if arum had als stable of fighters he would do exactly what al does...als going to make his own matchups if theyre good enough...if he needs outside guys hell go get them

al still advises danny jacobs..and when the money from hearn and DAZN was too good to pass up he had danny march his butt right over there

haymons WW's have all fought each other and made good fights.....you couldnt even get bob to make bud/pac when he had the chance...

Right now Crawford v Spence is one of the biggest fights to be made in the sport. Needles will move. Its the fight everybody other than PBC fans seem to want.

I can understand Spence going PAC and then Bud but nothing else is going to move any needles more than those 2 fights. And going up 2 weights to get squashed by Canelo isn't really going to do much for anybody. It's a pointless fight and to be honest Canelo clearly has no interest in Spence either.
