Why do we shame boxers for not staying outside of their weight class?

I will tel you that. If there are e.g. only 5 or 7 weight classes and weight differences proportionally big enough, such Canelos wouldn't dare to go higher as there would wait much bigger and stronger guys there, not mentioning the crowd of great fighters in each division would be huge.
Now we have multiple number of classes (that differs minimally one from the others) and multiple number of weak champions and weak pretendents.Comment

Did you hold him to that?
Like, it's funny, boxers make grandiose statements everyday they don't live up to, but Canelo stans somehow make that only time in history a boxer's made a grand statement.
Well, GGG was the champion at 160 and defended his belt at 160 21 times against anyone who'd fight him for the 160 belt at 160 lbs. I see zero wrong with that.Comment

James Toney said he'd fight Nigel Benn & Chris Eubank the same night.

Let's not forget Biterbiev one of the biggest LHW. He moved at times at HW in amateurs. Fought Usykk and Hunter. As well as young Kov.
You all just won't be happy no matter what. Quit crying... Briedis next right???Comment

First of all, the guy barely spoke English for years, so I know y'all aint listening to what he said all that much.
You're just mad that he exposed the fake middleweight champ for being what he was. . . a fake.
GGG has never fought at 154 or 168, much less held a belt there, so he had no obligation to fight anybody in those divisions.
He was a middleweight champion who fought whatever middleweights would fight him, which is what he was supposed to do.
Tell your guy to do the same.Comment
