Still annoys me we never got a prime Stevenson vs a prime Kovalev in 2014/15.

Underrated fighter probably because of his past. You know you're a scumbag if you knock out a tvvat like Tony Bellew and fans still don't get on board.

Its a real shame we never got to see the Kovalev fight. I'd have favoured him in that by knockout could easily see how it could have gone the other way mind.
Gutting looking back knowing we missed out on that one.

Facts, then Tony went on to KO David Haye at HW. That makes that win look a lot more impressive. Gave Usyk a good fight too. I think a prime adonis would have hurt Kovalev badly but unfortunately he's fallen victim to Father Time like all fighters do and wasn't the same when he fought jack and gvozdyk,

Reminded me of a young Pacquiao. Mostly a one handed fighter but that left was so dynamic you couldn’t stop it.

He looked pretty good but too bad he took a route that prevented a lot of good fights from being made until his unfortunate retirement. We never saw how good he actually could be but that's the price you pay if you keep it safe

Very good fighter, would have loved to see a Kova fight. I'd favor kova, but this would be a close fight
