Crawford gets terrible ratings compared to Spence. His PPV with Khan was a complete flop, and you even have his own promoter complaining that he's losing money on him and could have bought a house in Beverly Hills with those losses.
You're counting the live afternoon and night replay broadcast for Joshua fight? Because just counting an afternoon broadcast from the UK to the prime time fight in the US is very unfair.

Those views didn't bring money either. Wilder was making 2 mil a fight. He wasn't a draw.

I hope bud would fight a better competition next fight more than a Khan or Brook which he truly deserves. A fight against somebody like Porter would be a real test and meaningful fight...

I do see constant double standards but I myself don't have a dog in this fight(I favor neither) & yes it was hypocritical for Wilder fans to say AJ ducked Wilder after the 100 mil offer.

        But

Wilder was offered flat rate of like 12 mil if I recall, which was a joke only because Hearn wouldn't budge & it was a take it or leave it offer.

(because he was delaying the serious offers til later when he actually wanted it,he wanted to milk a fight or 2 more while marinating it a bit more imo),then Wilder was offered 100 mil to sign with Dazn which was a good offer except when you do the math Wilder ended up making almost the same amount as he would've but he didn't have to fire Haymon his team to do it like the dazn offer required(but the Dazn offer was a great offer & NoBody should say AJ ducked or lowballed & if anyone deserves blame it should be Wilder for turning it down)

Where this differs imo is that unlike Wilder Bud has no real leverage if he wants to keep avoiding unnecessary risky fights where hell be underpaid anyways & risk losing the Spence payday & prestige of it being UD vs Undefeated.

Bud doesn't have the options or backing Wilder had in showtime,Bud has to fight Porter or Ortiz if he doesn't want to lose status & clout,& he will likely make less than vs Spence & will be just as risky imo,Wilder had options because of Haymons backing,Arum has turned on bud

Count any combination that you want. Joshua was a lesser draw than Wilder in the US then, just like he still is now especially after that Madison Square Garden debacle.

When they sit down at the table and compare numbers Crawford has no area where he is better than Spence. Lower attendance figures, lower PPV sales, less belts, etc.

I can see 50/50 being fair. Or 60/40, winer takes the 60.

                Nope.

Crawford has absolutely no numbers in his favor to justify 50/50.

                  You are miscontruing the facts.

The main problem with the 30% offer to Wilder was that Parker got a higher percentage than what was being offered to Wilder.

Now nobody in their right mind thought that Parker was a bigger draw than Wilder and nobody in their right mind thought that The Wilder vs Joshua fight was would sell less than Joshua/Parker, if anything, it would sell at least tripple that at the time.

These were some of the issues with the Wilder vs Joshua fiight.

Also remember that Joshua demanded a 50 mil guarantee. They thought they were pricing themselves out but Wilder called their bluff and actually organised the fifty million, then Joshua's team changed stances and talked about perce sllits. It even got to a point where they offered Wilder just 15 percent of the slit.

That was the last straw, that's the moment Wilder stopped chasing Joshua and ignored every other invitation to the table since then.

At that point, Wilder no longer wanted anything to do with Joshua because he was tired of their bs.

I think Crawford has reached that point with Spence too except I think he and his team are the ones full of bs but Crawford's ego doesn't allow him to see that.

Crawford should take 40/60 versus Spence or Pacman in order to be bankable if he wins. And then he can probably earn $30M in just one fight like Canelo. When Pacman took less money Vs Oscar dela Hoya and Floyd Mayweather, he was already famous. Before that Pacman was just a malnourished 14 yr.old cigarrete vendor in the streets of Manila where he learned boxing and later made more than $200M.
