the op def started with a solid list....def had to add porter to it although i dunno if op wants to since he doesnt wanna talk about how his boy blew off even thinking about porter for a fight....but porter is def one

being "classy" isnt really a requisite of mine...the world needs different types of personalities...and this sport def needs it...would be boring if every guy was vanilla and they were all the same....it would be like every fighter having the same fighting style...no thanks

I would say myself. I'm not a pro, or even much of a boxer these days.

But as the most respected poster on NSB, I felt I deserved a mention.

Good talent. No over the top excuses. No ducking. Maybe guys who got the short end of the stick sometimes too. No real scandals/drug charges.


That's probably the main criteria. Porter, Rosado, come to mind. Derevyanchenko. Badou Jack.

Canelo is clearly very well respected in boxing. Conducts himself classily as well. You never see any BS with him, always respectful and no trash talk. Good role model for the sport in the way he conducts himself publicly.

I guess you forgot about the time he beat up Archie Solis not in a boxing ring.

C'mon, Manny Pacquiao is by far the most loved/respected fighter in the world.

He had most of America rooting for him against our biggest boxer, Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Only Floyd stans hate Manny.

Chocolatito, Shawn Porter, and Mikey Garcia I think are pretty much universally respected too.
