Okay gentlemen just a heads up that you might want to get your picks in for the Tokyo card... from what I'm reading we're looking at 4am ET or about 9am UK time... looks like a boxing breakfast for yours truly!

So, upshot is your picks probably want to be in within 12 hours at the latest... don't assume you can leave it til the a.m.

Now with that in mind I already contacted Chrismart - the first of the title contenders to submit his Tokyo picks - that he might prefer to make them by PM to the CREW account in light of how close the standings are.

I'd now like to make that same suggestion to the other top players: asgarth Baltimore and BobLoblaw ... I'd say Mammoth too, but by my calculation there's no way now you can quite place in the top 3 so it's less relevent to you. EDIT - forgot there's a potential x3 on Kobayashi so Mammoth too is in potential reach of the top slots... if you want to PM your picks, man, feel free.

It's optional, but I'd strongly recommend that you all make your remaining picks by PM to the PICK EM CREW account if you have any concerns at all that your picks might impact on those of the other players.

The reasoning being for example that with asgarth knowing he is currently 10 points clear of Chrismart he could in theory (although I don't believe he would deliberately) make the exact same picks to guarantee finishing ahead... I think to avoid even the suggestion of that kinda gamesmanship it's probably sensible adviice for all the top players to pick via PM... and yeah, thanks to asgarth himself for bringing the potential issue to my attention in the first place. Gonna green K you for that irrespective of anything else that happens. Kudos, man.

Damn - forgot about odds on Kobayashi vs Higa too, and it's damn good value cos Kobayashi was upat +600 when I put up the thread for a x3 whereas he's now shortened to +350ish which would only be about a x2.

I got majority on Ioka decision but put small wagers on 7-12 ko for either man at over 10 to 1 odds for each which seem to have narrowed quite a bit for Tanaka at least.

Yeah I noticed this last night. I started with betting the fight to go the distance which narrowed slightly after. Then I bet on Kobayashi decision at +1000 and noticed it was +800 moments after so hit it again modestly and now it's +600 this afternoon. Small hedge on Higa decision. So if Higa gets the KO and Tanaka wins decision I'm ****ed but most other bases covered lol...
