I've seen a few of these on Youtube. It seems like a step up from just scrapping on the street and risking arrests or getting your head kicked into the pavement. It's a better alternative to shooting one another or walking into a trap on the streets.

      Weak comparison.

Amateur boxing runs at a loss, it doesn't make a profit which is why it needs government money to keep going. Top amateurs do receive funding. They also receive top level coaching to develop their skills, and have medical professionals on hand to look after them. You have some guy who took a first aid course?

Youtube doesn't offer 'huge exposure' they get watched and forgotten. You talk as if they can build on it to become successful somehow? Whereas top US amateurs can win gold at the Olympics and become a millionaire long before winning a pro title

      Do you fight yourself?

Our matches are labeled as exhibition matches, they don't count on official records at sanctioned events. It doesn't count as a match in a gym when you do hard sparring does it?

The park by my house this summer had kids boxing, cops just stood and watched, they said they didn't care because they had gloves on.

          Yea, I do fight.

You could be the topped ranked fighter in your state and only a few hundred people might know who you are. Streetbeefs had fights that 20m people have seen. Thousands of people know names like baby hulk, beach, shinigami, Italian Tyson etc...
The hood of someone even making enough to sustain their life from fighting is very low too.

Fair enough dude. I kinda assumed you were making money from others taking risks but I was wrong, my mistake

              Keep up the good work!

I hope to see some SB fighters transition into professional boxing.

                Thank you.
King leo already has, he's 1-0 as a pro. We have a couple in our branch that might go that route too.

oh lol, my bad. I didn't read enough of this thread. Had no clue you were posting here with that. Thought it was a general idea and what goes with it.
