Charlo Responds to Canelo win over Smith: “Fook It Ima go to 168!”

Good fight.
Canelo has lots of options at 168.
When Canelo was at 154 I’d never have thought he’d be the Ring Champion at 168 but he’s had a great career.Comment

You hope at some point Canelo fights someone with more athleticism than the guys he usually fights. As we saw with Floyd and Lara, smaller fighters with more athleticism are the most difficult for Canelo to deal with.Comment

Lol. 2013 recalls. As if boxing culture doesn’t understand that fighters evolve with Ring IQ and that Canelo fought GGG as he did with 2013 style...Comment

Charlo would get smoked. If his "athleticism" is all he banks on, then he has lost before the bell has even rung. Canelo has faced every style and there are nuances to his game. What will Charlo bring that Alvarez hasn't seen yet?
Power? Nah, GGG, Jacobs, and Kovalev hit much harder than him
Speed? Canelo's timing will nullify that attribute.
Canelo has learned to cut off the ring, walk his man down and his stamina has been alot more reliable over 12 in recent times. Charlo would mos def take that L. I hope the fight gets made so him and his brother could STFU for a bit.Comment

Well it does seem to me that when a big star fights a PBC fighter wants to make a statement the following day even though the things they say never seem to actually happen. I think they call it clout chasing.Comment

Exactly and of course; He should be the huge favorite to win that fight on just his championship experience alone. However every time Jermall's name is mentioned as a potential Canelo opponent; It's always funny hearing his fans say let Mall Charlo fight Demetrius Andrade first before he fights Canelo Alvarez
Charlo, GGG, Andrade, Jacobs, Smith, Plant, Benevidez
We have ONE!!! fight amongst all those guys. Everyone wants to wait around for the Canelo payday and avoid tough fights until then. It's obvious.Comment
