Well I think there’s “new parameters” being placed on almost everything in society right now. Being the first commentator to say “they need to stop this fight” and then going on a spiel about how much you care about fighters safety etc. That’s the progressive angle to take now. I’m not saying it’s wrong or right, but it’s still just opinions. There’s experienced refs and corner men who have a lot more invested that make the decisions. Big time fights, champions, millions of dollars being earned... there’s so much controversy in fight outcomes, sometimes letting things really play out is the for the best. I think covid has affected a lot of peoples opinions on things in all sorts of ways...
Adults go into contact sports knowing full well shlt can happen.
