Depends on what you mean by “better”, the scores may have been closer, but you aren’t beating Canelo running and stinking out the joint.

No. Andrade has never fought anybody good. Callum Smith has at least fought George Groves and Hassan N'Dam N'Jikam.

Canelo is way too much of a step up from guys like Vanes Martirosyan or Maciej Sulecki.

I don't know how anyone can answer that when the last top 10 fighter Andrade fought was Martirosyan in 2013, where he was knocked down and won a split decision. He hasn't stepped up ever since. So, hard to tell how he would do against fighters who are bigger, better, and stronger than Vanes Martirosyan. I'd say maybe he would play it safe, take less punishment than Smith, but also not land anything significantly with frequency, and therefore lose a similarly wide decision. Andrade also doesn't have the power to earn Canelo's respect and keep him from pressuring him. He'd be on the run all night and probably be reluctant to throw anything in fear of getting countered. Just shows up for a paycheck probably, play it safe for 12 rounds, jab all night, claim you got robbed and go back into obscurity.

At 154 Canelo says, he doesn't fight for belts, fights for pride when Andrade had the WBO belt. As soon as Andrade is stripped, he fights Lame Smith

AT 160 Canelo has 3 belts and Andrade has the WBO on DAZN (same platform, so no side of the street bull*****). Canelo comes up with lame excuse that Oscar caused him to get stripped but the bodies don't strip cash cows. Ask FMW, Manny and AJ.

At 168, Canelo wants to be undisputed. Andrade is moving to 168. Saunders has to automatically fight Andrade, a WBO champ moving up. See Crawford vs Horn. Saunders ducked the fight with nasal spray at 160. Now, Hearn is looking for loopholes to keep that belt out of Andrade's hands and make Canelo vs Saunders.

No Canelo is not ducking a guy who is stylistically like Lara and FMW Jr, but is bigger, more rangy and makes his punches stick and is a nightmare for flat-footed fighters.

Now, can Canelo beat him? Canelo just has the finish that fight and the cards will be rigged like the Lara fight. All stats had Lara winning 7-3-2 rounds but Levi Martinez scores it 117-111 for Canelo.

Yes, he beats Andrade in the fanboy's mind actually after getting pieced up in the actual fight.

People think employing movement automatically = running. Do you understand what gets taught in boxing? You ever heard of sticking & moving?

I've watched pretty much all Andrade's notable fights I'd love for you to tell me who he ran from?

Andrade controls the center of the ring more than people understand. Not saying he will do that hypothetically against Canelo. But it's interesting reading ppl's perceptions that's not really accurate.

I remember when Lomachenko was too much of a step up from Commey.

Wow this guy has a memory on him. Most people forget after 2 days, he went back to 154...

Only thing I wanna say which I'll be making a thread about is Canelo outright refused to face Andrade for the last belt at 160, he only wanted to fight him if he had too. This was after saying he wanted to be the 1st Undisputed Mexican in boxing history. The only reason the IBF mandatory got called was cause he accepted the Franchise position. Which then bumped the IBF up who was behind the WBC in the mandatory rotations. His options where defend against WBC mandatory Charlo or unify with Andrade since unifications trump mandatories in most circumstances. Essentially all he had to do was face Andrade if he really wanted to be Undisputed but......

Watch Doo Doo vs Vanes. He is overrated as hell. He is as garbage as his resume. Doo Doo would get stopped by Canelo.
