    4 division is his limit. Stop dreaming like he can still win another division.

    Canela=4 division,
    Floyd=5 division,
    Dela Hoya=6 division
    Pacman=8 division

      No amount of Mexican meat can make him taller or longer. Or can it? He is after a midget, let’s not forget that. He’s 100% leprechaun

        Nah. Canelo would have to sacrifice his calibration from a 168 weigh in. Canelo is perfect for 168. Hrs probably 175 in the ring now. When he fought Kovalev he was about 180 whereas Kovalev was like 190 minimum. Canelo in the gym, the notorious videos we see, he’s probably 185 MAX, including his Golf pics etc…he just pure muscle and the highest peak since he doesn’t let his body go in between fights like most fighters do. So for Cruiser, Canelo would have to simple eat more than his current cut off. I think Canelo would prefer to be 195 TOPS at Cruiser if he would want to still compete back down to 168. Most Cruisers are 215-220lbs+ on fight night since they too drain for Cruiser. That’s a 20lbs minimum disadvantage for Canelo on fight night. His opponents would clinch and tire him out as they push back to the ropes.

        Canelo would have to sacrifice 168 and never return should he want to do a Cruiser title IMO.

          From LHW to Cruiser is a huge gap that if you compare to lower weights it’s basically a 130-154 leap. RJJ and Toney had no hesitation trying it. I think even Tommy Hearns fought at Cruiser but light, not limit

                if he does that again a weak fighter or for a vacant belt, then he will get about as much credit as he did when he beat rocky fielding and people will demand he fight all the top cruiserweights

                but a lot of fighters have BS wins in their top division

                things like pac over margo at a catchweight or DLH bogus decision against felix sturm

                even RJJ at heavyweight gets some chit because Ruiz was hand picked and he immediately left the division after beating a champ with a style tailor made for him
