As for Spence vs Canelo, he does like to walk down fighters but I'm curious to see if he would be able to jab effectively in the center of the ring. Spence is actually taller and longer than Canelo but not heavier obviously and Canelo himself is proof that size alone doesn't win fights.
Spence would still be taller and longer than Canelo but it would be much less than he's used to...AND...Canelo is used to being much shorter and much less reach...Spencer would be CLOSER to him than most of his other opponents.

Spence has "power" at WW but I highly doubt that "power" would discourage or keep Canelo off of him. Kovalev, Smith, and GGG 2 couldn't keep Canelo from moving forward...definitely not seeing Spence have any success in that department

Bud has already stated Manny is his #1 with Spence being #2 although that ship seems to be sailing altogether (Spence continues to dismiss Bud...dismissed Bud at his own fight with Danny and publicly saying the negotiations are far apart)

Bud could possibly fight Porter who has just been made his mandatory

Thurman would be the only other fighter Bud would consider at 147 imo

After those four fighters...there's nothing left for Bud. He looks fairly average sized at WW so I don't see him moving up either

I think that’s possible. Canelo seems to feel that 168 is his best weight right now. Based on what he said yesterday he doesn’t seem interested in a Spence fight right now; certainly not at 160 without a title.

Pac is biggest draw still but Spence has drawing power. Can't say same for Crawford and that's why it's smart for both to try to fight Pac next. Correct?

Bud won't get any PBC action until he leaves Top Rank.

No sense in chatting about % for Spence/Crawford. The fight won't happen at least until after Crawford signs with PBC. HAYMON will wait until Crawford's contract is done in Oct 2021 and then make the fight in house to keep all revenues and make sure fighters get $$$ they deserve without Arum cutting in. Meanwhile Spence vs Pac will be done b4 June 2021.

Add in the awful eye scrapping numbers spence n crawford does. They aimt selling above 300k so both yall take the 7.5m each and fight. Yall aimt making 25m for a fight unless its a crossover or u moving up to fight ggg with $ man canelo lined up right after or u stage it in arabia

They don't want each other's smoke = equi-shook, so 54 yr old Sen. Pacman becomes 147 king because he's a champ and he'd fight em both.
                  Manny! Manny! Manny!

I know it sounds counter-intuitive but the fact that Spence is smaller might not hinder him as much.

Kovalev, Smith and GGG couldn't discourage him, however they were also slower and easier to hit. Canelo's toughest fights didn't involve big punchers (Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Erislandy Lara) so I would be curious to see two things:

                    1. Whether Alvarez would be drained at 160
                    2. How he would handle someone closer to him in both size AND coordination

Now if Spence can't box effectively from distance then everything I said goes out the window, however I would love to see how Canelo would handle a smaller, faster opponent now that he has evolved to a higher level.

Haymon & Arum should make the same two fight deal they made for Fury and Wilder.

50-50 for the first fight, and the rematch will be 60-40 in favor of the winner.
