Unfortunately for a guy like Benavidez, his lack of dedication to the sport will lose him the Canelo fight.

Canelo will likely schedule the fight for Benavidez only after hearing or knowing that Benavidez is out of shape.

He'll give Benavidez 4 or 5 weeks to prepare, Benavidez's camp will be a weight loss program, and the rest will be history..

this idea that canelo only gives guys a few weeks to train is ridiculous...the guy he picks knows hes in the running and has a good idea whether or not the fight will happen well before its officially announced....some of u guys will run with anything to go at someone you dont like

Bro, I like Canelo. I can like a fighter and not support absolutely every decision he makes...that is possible...sheesh. Don't get it twisted. Many of the sport's biggest draws have exercised this privilege. I personally don't like it, but when you look back at history, these types of details are forgotten.

Benavidez should take some belt first, than call out Canelo. He must blame him self he lost it in the scale. He is not a star or something and nobody will chase him without the belt.

How am I making it seem?

He fought Callum with a month notice and he fought Kovalev with a month notice.

Don't start telling me about how if a guy mentions another fighters name that means the fighter should be prepared for the fight.

With that logic, Karim Mayfield better keep himself ready for that Floyd fight... and so should Amir Khan.
