Also, you really think he is going to fight Canelo? For real? He's clout chasing. He's never going to do that, plz don't fall for that nonsense.
That's exactly whay everyone said about Mikey when he was calling out Spence.

"MIkey is just clout chasing, he is using Spence to promote himself, he is using Spence's name to avoid Lomachenko. He'll never fight Spence"

    Sound familiar?

And for sure Bob's paying him very well to keep him but it's more than just that I think... like you say Bud regards Bud very highly and in his mind he deserves 50%. Gonna be hard to get around that.
yeah i could see bud being very stubborn in the matter...but its up to someone to break it down to him..someone close...to break down the reality of the situation...in terms of draw and opportunities he def is a b-side even if its by a small margin....he needs to accept that....and if hes as confident as he seems and talks hell take that money and whoop spence and become the king/a-side of all kings.....

there are tons of pbc haters around here...and many thinkg bud will beat spence...and thats ok...theyre entitled to believe that...if its so then hell take his position and make the fight and leave no doubt.....

ive always liked bud...i look forward to his fights...but we all can see hes not in a great spot...its up to someone to explain that to him if he doesnt already understand that....sometimes you have to swallow some pride

Nah anything below 80% of the share for Spence is too low.

I dont care what they say in the media, they need to actually attempt a negotiation.

If both sides want to start high and meet in the middle sure. 70/30 is ridiculous and never happening. Right now that is a duck. I dont see Canelo going back to 160 unless it was really big money and I dont know how they cold spin it like Spence has a chance.

Spence is just using canelo's name to make it look like he has more options than he does. Hes already fought everyone at welter, there is like Thurman who is always injured and 42 year old pacman that is left. Crawford fight should happen NOW before spence goes to 154.

            Possibly 55/45 for Spence.

As far as talking smack goes, I'd rather hear a fighter say, "I'll fight that rat bastard for FREE, just get him in the ring with me!". The diva stuff is sometimes disgusting.
Better yet, they could sign a two-fight deal where the first fight is 50-50 with 60-40 for the winner in the rematch. That seems like the best solution if they truly want to make the fight.

Unfortunately both Crawford and Spence seem content to downplay each other at best and pretend that the other doesn't exist at worst.

I'm a real fan of both dudes though gun to head I'd probably say Bud FTW, but yeah, I think he might just need to accept the L at the negotiating table to make it happen. Not sure he will though, not sure he's wired that way, but it'd be a damn shame... Clocks ticking and it'd be really sad to see another GGG type situation where we never really get to see a top talent tested in their prime.

i agree on the canelo matter....but

no matter what you think about thurman or pac...they are options....real options...and good ones even if you say "thurman is always injured" and "pac is 42"...they are still real/viable options

spence aint going to 154 without fighting bud.....theres going to be too much money for both to avoid this fight...it will happen...people go nutty when fights arent happening but they always happen...of course someone could ruin it and lose...but thats just divine intervention...if someone were to beat one of them then the fight probably wasnt as great as we thought...these fights always happen...just not exactly when we want....thats just what happens...theres too much money and its too big to not happen....

No, I fully believed Mikey and I don't remember all the talk being about Mikey clout chasing either. But I don't believe Spence.

Hey, you wana believe Spence you go for it, but I don't and in my opinion I already see the game playing out, "why would he be scared to fight Crawford when he is calling Canelo out? ".

PBC play smoke and mirrors all the time, ducking Crawford and talking about Canelo, it's all smoke and mirrors. But it's all lame and transparent, only idiots fall for the BS.

And while we are at it nobody believes you want to or will fight Canelo either. Typical PBC clout chasing and nothing more. It's all part of the marketing strategy over the at the cult of Haymon.
Why is it that Whenever a pbc affiliated fighter is aware of his worth and points that out do you claim it’s him “not wanting the fight”?

You and others never come out and say it directly because you’d expose yourselves but you always suggest in a roundabout way that a pbc fighter to either take less than they are worth or give an opponent more to than he is worth to make a fight. If they don’t you then label the pbc guy as scared or not wanting to fight.

                      Why is that?

I’m sure he wants to fight Canelo because canelo is the cash cow and a win against him raises your profile professionally and significantly increases your future purses.
