The guy was practically running into the ropes using them as a catapult.

No interest in a rematch personally, the guy **** himself & was only looking to run & survive from the off.
He looked petrified & that incident did him a favour.

Hmm. Didn't watch but you're telling me this Ennis guy couldn't get past a guy Spence took out in eight, years ago?

      Interesting.

(And yes, I know, headbutts. That sounds like Ennis has a wild 'eye test' style instead of refined punching.)

You did not watch the fight but you make the most idiotic comment here.

This fight ended in Rd 1 .... how the fück do you come up with BS statement of “ you're telling me this Ennis guy couldn't get past a guy Spence took out in eight, years ago?”

Ennis was destroying the guy in that 1 round and you come here to mock him YET you haven’t watched the fight.

        Dude! What’s wrong with you?

              No. What's your point?

Thankfully there are rules in boxing. Protecting fighters to save their health. I saw the fight. The cut was nasty. And in my opinion, the accidental head butt came as a result of Ennis jumping around a bit too much. Too wild, too ******. He needs to calm down in the future. Jumping around like that could make him vulnerable for a counter punch too.

If David Avanesyan wins against Josh Kelly 30 January, I think Avanesyan could be that final gatekeeper to make Ennis a real contender.

You realize you basically verified what I said, right?

'eye test' fight style which is why everyone is fawning over him, not refined.

It's funny how I get attacked for telling the truth.

I didn't need to see it to know what had to have happened. Van Heerden is a textbook boxer, so headbutt could only happen from a wild ass 'eye test' opponent.

You think? Lipinets has those T-Rex arms and Boots is long and lean. It might end up like Pretty Boy Floyd and Angel Manfredy. I agree it’s a pretty good step-up for sure.
