Charlo v Andrade is a better match up. GGG is 39 FFS let him have his retirement run, these young guys should duke it out to see who's the best instead of clinging onto their 0's and holding the belt hostage.

Anyway, they can't because he's a stylistic nightmare for any & everybody at the division. & I'm gonna make this more about GGG than Charlo..If you know anything about boxing & it's history the boxer almost always beats the puncher & ages better as well. We know Andrade can beat GGG cause the man who trained Derevyanchenko (who you praise for losing) not only said Andrade was the best at 160 but dared GGG to face Andrade. It's amazing ppl have all this praise for Sergiy cause of his amateur background & almost pretends Andrades doesn't exist.

How do we know GGG can land on statistically & realistically one of the best defensive fighters in the sport today? What good is having power that you can't land? Uncle Roger told us it's not about who hits the hardest but who's the smartest. Andrade is faster, has a better punch variety, better counter puncher, better footwork, better ring IQ, is younger, better defense, lol I could probably keep going. GGG abandoned his boxing skill from the amateurs & chose to get punched in the face to appease fans for "casual fanfare." Andrade has zero obligation to do so & fights to win regardless if a fan wants him to fight a certain way. GGG is old, slow, methodical, zero head movement, mediocre if not subar defense. No footwork, 1 dimentional. GGG truly is tailor made for Andrade, honestly that's the fight that COULD make Andrade a star, if ppl know their boxing. Out of anybody else he could fight cause of GGG's name, he comes straight to you with no head movement, & the style of fight its guaranteed to be. It will make Andrade look amazing.

I guess i need to watch more of Andrade but the highlights iv seen of him he doesn’t look like a textbook boxer, like a Lara. But He’s definitely awkward, and doesn’t look like he has KO power. I understand the reason he’s unproven is because nobody wants to give him a shot. But more than likely i think he ends up being on the same level of these guys. Close fights at the top level, but i still have my doubts about his ability to take a Charlo or GGG bomb.

Being awkward also had nothing to do with footwork. Navarette is WAY more awkward than Andrade & nobody I mean nobody raves about his footwork. What you guys don't acknowledge or don't see, is his athleticism. I'm giving away too much ***elry in this thread. There's an athleticism gap between Andrade & anyone he can fight. The same way RJJ did things wrong but nobody had the skills or talent to take advantage of it.

He's not. Lara mainly throws jabs & straights. In his prime he fights extremely safe, takes little risks. Andrade will counter punch in between when you punch which is very dangerous. He has more variety than Lara, he mixes in technical skills with nontechnical skills, I don't think I've ever seen Lara LEAD with an uppercut, Andrade does. Andrade has power he's just a terrible finisher. By the time he gets his shot it could very well be close but also take into account he's older than them minus GGG. Once you hit 35 in boxing you start ageing in dog years. It could be a GGG repeat all over again. But I'm speaking if these dudes fight next.

It'll be an even fight. Both Charlo bros are there to be hit and have too much belief in their power, which allows them to get tagged in the process.

I could see the more athletic Jermall getting the best of GGG but at the same time, I can see GGG breaking him down because Jermall is there to be hit often.

Nobody can take too many punches from GGG. They wear guys down, he just hits so damn hard. Like a middleweight Marciano really. Even Canelo was slowing down in both fights and got frozen by a few big shots. Canelo is just that elite, that he can remain composed and fight through it to beat GGG.

Same is left to be seen from Jermall though.

One, you're lying/exaggerating. Two the reason he can at minimal times do that & have better footwork than GGG is cause: GGG is slow & flat footed, his only footwork is cutting off the ring which he looked absolutely horrendous at last night. Andrade circles different directions, fights off the back foot, side to side all better than GGG. GGG comes forward better than Andrade but that's only one aspect. Andrade bounces on his toes at times. A way more diverse arsenal while GGG can look like a plodder at times, only punching at a stand still. That's why Andrade's footwork is clearly better. It's not even close to argue otherwise. That's like me trying to argue Andrade has better punching power than GGG lol. It's really night & day.
