It was not really a great rivalry to be honest.

Just two fighters, having two fights.

Hardly Bowe vs Holyfeild, Benn vs Eubank or Ali vs Frazier etc.

I've still never seen the fight. 3G just never really interested me.

TBF to him, I just don't give a **** about MW really. I saw Canelo fight Mosley, Trout, Lopez, Floyd, Cotto, Lara, Khan, Jr, and Krusher. And even then, most of those are not MW (?If any?) and it wasn't Canelo who got me to stop and watch them. I paid no attention to build ups and was hardly aware of what I was about to watch. Just name values really.

Already a Mosley fan, was watching Mosley, Canelo was just there

Trout fight was just apart of a card with a lot of 0s. I think like 10 unbeaten fighters.

Lopez is a fun fighter. If you're not a fan of some journeymen or contenders that will never be champion then you're a pretty surface level fan. I was watching Lopez.

Money is Money, I was definitely interested in seeing him again.

Lara fight I can't remember, maybe I watched that for the fight for Canelo. Abner's return after a defeat was probably interesting to me too though. Maybe that one was just a good card.

Khan is a fighter I love to hate on. Such a weird mix of brave but soft. He's a ***** who can't accept he's a *****.

Jr is a fighter I love to make excuses for and pretend like he's destined for greatness. I used to call him ****ules...I'm allowed 'cause I am hispanic.

Cotto - I am Puerto Rican. My whole family watched that ****.

Krusher was totally Canelo finally got my attention.

Canelo kicked the asses of a ton of boxers I liked before he was ever a name then kept kicking asses of boxers I was interested in.

3G is a fine purist's professional. If you like boxing for boxing and across any division then I totally get it. For me he's a boring prick who could do with taking a page out of Dempsey's showman handbook. If you're going to stay in your lane and limit who can fight you at least make build ups and **** less boring.

Most interesting thing about Gennady is he's boxing's Borat. Also, EE's being named a vich instead of Jr even though their name is their fathers is kinda funny. Adam son of Adam sounds ****** y'all. So does ****ing Gennady Gennadyevich.

Canelo's had a far more interesting career.

I'm not a 3g hater nor canelo fan really, it's just the truth. My posting history will range from not in those threads to clearly not really giving a **** about Canelo as much as I do the other guy even when I expect the other guy to lose to him.

The Khan fight and the Kovalev fight were probably the only ones I watched where he being the guy they were fighting really mattered to me. Usually the they is the one I care about and he's just fighting the guy I came to see.
