Got a gift decision against Jacobs lost both fights to Canelo, he's a b level fighter used to fighting c level opposition..interesting how there was no "big drama show" against jacobs and canelo. Plus he was sitting in a dead division fighting bums like geale,wade,monroe....scared to move up like other champions.

GGG is slow and not to skillfull,he is lucky he has KO power vs bumps. Once he faced Jacobs, Canelo, Shenko the super power is gone.

I'm not blaming him. He had 24 hellacious rounds with the guy; he got the nod he needed, and didn't want to look back. A 3rd fight for him is dangerous still. Similar reward/lower risk options out there.

The rounds were hellacious for Borat not Canelo. Hell Canelo wanted this 3rd Borat fight this past Fall but Borat insisted on fighting this deli worker, Mr Sacramento.

Canelo knows he gets to breakdown and beat Borat into submission at this point but the fight will never happen now.

Borat a prima donna and will want the fight on DAZN, at 160, with his pick of judges (his kazakh brothers and sisters and cattle), his ref (his Kazakh bartender).

Borat will demand both corners use Kazakh goat milk instead of water, no anthems can be played prior to fight and instead ****** prayer must be used, ans Borat will demand the venue be his mother/ex-wife/step-sister backyard

Canelo will just say, "...wat"

Boxing fans are the most cynical in all of sports. To many of them, every fighter is a bum, every performance is unappreciated, and every fight should be king kong vs. godzilla otherwise, fighters are called cowards, lames, bums, and every other name in the book. Meanwhile these same so called fans couldn't live in a ring with the worst boxer for 30 seconds. They would get slept worse than Nate Robinson did

Why do some boxing fans always use this argument? If I claim that the N.Y Jets suck would you say that they are better at football than me? No shyte! They are pros! There are boxers who are great, some that are decent, and some that are terrible. Would they all beat me? That is irrelevant!

Alvarez and Derevyanchenko could not KO Jacobs, Charlo and Jacobs could not KO Derevyanchenko, and Alvarez KO's people generally a lot bigger than him, but he won exactly 1 more round according to the official scorecards over a 2 fight war with Trip G. So... generally MW's seem freaking hard to KO at the top right now.

I agree he should not be lowering his standards to some of these fighters, but top level is expected to wipe out competition beneath them. He does not lose concentration and beats those cabbies easily. There is something.

Canelo: Elite, and he took that leather twice in Canelo's prime (and please do not forget Alvarez dropped his first MW belt to avoid Golovkin at his peak, and put it off for a full year and a half).

Derevyanchenko and Jacobs: Dangerous and respected.

Martin Murray (29-0-1 when they fought), David Lemieux (29-1, and considered a KO artist), Curtis Stevens (29-1), and David Geale (30-1) are all respectable wins over true pros, particularly when they happened. I do not think Charlo who everyone loves to throw up as a person Golovkin is avoiding has as impressive resume. No, I do NOT think it is a Hall of Fame resume. But it is not just push-overs unless you hate him and rewrite history.

"Golovkin had no business fighting this nobody" I agree. It is why I hate titles and organizations. It was a garbage fight. It was also his mandatory defense.

There are 3-4 good to great bouts for Golovkin who are not named "Alvarez", so we will see how he handles his last few years as a fighter. Golovkin and his cry baby attitude for 9 months after the Canelo loss really soured me on him. I know he is not genuine. But, he is an accomplished fighter who has had some great moments. To go on tirades and act like he is not a legit boxer but a fraud is just.... weird.

Totally 100% legit and I hope he does, although the PBC will be a hard negotiation for Charlo.
