Coming from someone that has been laughing at ggg for yrs,hes a great fighter who had the potential to become an ATG but as I suspected since early on he was most interested in playing it safe & avoiding risk wherever possible (the exact opposite of Canelo, granted he had more to lose perhaps(a payday from Canelo,& in the end he rode Canelos coattails to a contract from Dazn he swindled Dazn outta by pretending hed fight Canelo after)

Its ironic that ggg became a household name by saying how he fights mexican warrior style not slick brotha coward style" & "not a businessman" but he ended up being the opposite of mexican style & his legacy is that of a fighter who was 1st & foremost a businessman.

I admit that in my own way I am a sortof fan of ggg in that I watch his fights & in that I think he let down everyone whos ever believed him & the hype he created which he never intended to live up to. For how skilled ggg is & how good a fight he gave Canelo thats not good enough to be the great hes made out as,he should've challenged himself by fighting as many champs as possible not just the ones you can't avoid & or are smaller than you.

GGG did what he had to do after a year of inactivity, he was a little rusty in there but I think that's normal. I would like to see him against all the other top guys at 160 not named Canelo and if he beats someone credible, maybe a 3rd fight makes sense, but as of right now I don't see the point of a 3rd fight. I also see 0 change in the way he fights since he got with the new trainer Jonathan Banks, he still fights the same way, he's a tad slower and he still gets hit a little roo much.

GG fights straight up, no bells whistles or special effects. Very hittable by C&D level fighters. He has powerful hands that makes up for it though.

GGG looked very good, and in amazing shape....looked young and powerful but fighting a tomato can. When will he move up at least one weight class?? Zurdo Ramirez called him many times when the latter was closer to his weight class. Canelo takes a lot more chances and has a very tough fight tomorrow...

GG doesn't have to move up, He has Charlo's belt he can fight for or Andrade is ready.
