G's head movement surprised me tonight. The rest was on par. We already know how hard he hits to the head and body lol

Anyone complaining about GGGs opponent should think that GGG didn't chose him to be his opponent.. He was his mandatory so he have to fight him whether he's a cab driver or a brick layer. Not GGGs fault

Golovkin, who shares the record for consecutive World Middleweight title defenses, returns to the ring in his second reign as World Middleweight Champion. (photos by Melina Pizano)

Szeremeta is GGG’s mandatory challenger for the IBF strap he won against Sergey Derevyanchenko, and the unbeaten Pole, eight years younger than the defending world champion, enters this fight like a hurricane gathering strength, having won three of his last five fights by knockout, including a second-round stoppage of Oscar Cortes on the undercard of Golovkin’s win over Derevyanchenko.

The action then moves over to Texas the following night to end 2020 with a **** as Alvarez goes toe-to-toe with WBA Super and Ring Magazine champion Smith in front of a 12,000 crowd at the Alamodome.

Mexican pound-for-pound king Alvarez once again reaches for greatness by taking on the #1 Super-Middleweight in the world having won a World title in a fourth weight in his last outing, beating Sergey Kovalev for the WBO Light-Heavyweight strap.
I thought Golovkin looked good and I like how he utilized some head movement and slipping in addition to his usual offensive attack.

I know some people will say that he suddenly looked like a killer again because he was in with a “bum” but I feel differently. GGG didn’t look like his prime self but he certainly looked better than he did in his last few fights, and I’m not even talking about the stoppage.

Golovkin looked to be in better condition and he got to work on some things against a limited opponent. He got hit way less than he did against Steve Rolls so that’s a positive.

Right!? I’ve been reading through all his comments and beginning to wonder if anyone told him that he should be wiping away his chin after finishing GGG.

I’ve seen some celebutard worshippers but this one takes the cake.

and even Floyd would tell you he wasn’t in his prime. Technically sound boxers have a better chance of performing at a high level longer, pressure fighters and guys that rely on athleticism, not so much.

Actually ggg chased this fight for over a year & he wasn't his mandatory because the Ibf never mandated the fight(its ironic how ggg only cares about fighting #1 contenders(a yr out from mandatory)when its Szeremeta),& to make it worse him & his trainer have publicly said hes ducking Canelo to fight this Cabbie, sorry assistant Cabbie (albeit a cabbie who ggg still couldn't ko),they openly stated they wanted no parts of ginger,& that they were dead set on fighting another journeyman because ggg "is fighting like sht & needs to improve"(paraphrase)
