If GG can fight Canelo 2x and nobody said Canelo was too young then GG can fight Charlo who owns 160 belt because he's the same age as Canelo (30). No more excuses!!!Comment

Well, it's just my opinion, but I think the reason why would that be is this. Unlike Canelo, Szerementa generates less money than GGG does. And unlike Derevyanchenko, Szerementa is not needed after GGG to provide a "coming out party" name opponent for building a future money generator, Jermall Charlo. And unlike Danny Jacobs, Szerementa is not needed to close the odds for a future Canelo fight, in order to bring in maximum bets from both sides of the betting line, because the odds for Canelo vs GGG have already been narrowed by the Jacobs fight and the first two Canelo fights, whereas before GGG vs Jacobs, the odds for Canelo vs GGG were wide in GGG's favor.Comment

GGG treated his opponent like a yoyo, dropping him 4 times in 7 rounds. Not much of a test for him on this night, with this opponent. GGG looked in his best shape ever, all cut up, and muscled up. It showed in this fight that being at his best, future opponents will be hard pressed to beat him.Comment

level of competition has plenty to do with it. But, it also can’t be ignored that hardly anybody in the history of boxing is the same at 35 and over as they were when they were younger. Doesn’t matter if you’re talking about sugar Ray Leonard, Roy Jones , Hearns, Whitaker, Ali, pac ,Oscar, etc. doesn’t mean they’re not still credible , but definitely not the same.Comment

He either seemed a little slower than I remember or he was just purposely methodical in this dismantling.
He looked in great shape. Maybe a little more muscular than the usual and maybe that’s why he came across as slower? Not sure. Maybe I’m reading too much into it.
It was good to see GGG fight again. Not sure how many more fighta of him we’ll get but I’m just glad I got to witness this guy.Comment
