but those Judges scorecards were tilted in Teofimos favour & didn’t represent the fight.

It’s has to be obvious by now that there’s corruption because it happens so regularly that it’s common and there can’t be any other explanation for it , there’s no way Judges can consistently be this incompetent

There’s a system in place where Judges have to somehow Be told beforehand by someone what fighter is going to be given all the breaks and rounds in the fight. Because in big fights it’s more common to have controversial decisions / scorecards then it is to have Legit Agreed upon Scorecards.

There’s no way that’s a fluke or if Boxing wasn’t a corrupt that after decades of the same sh.it happening , Boxing wouldn’t try and clean up and fix the biggest reason why it’s become a niche sport because most of the public believe that It’s faker then Wrestling

I honestly believe neither him not his Father believed they were losing the early rounds.

It really seemed that they just planned to drown Lopez in the late rounds, and are surprised that people gave Lopez so much credit in the early rounds.

When you watch the first half of the fight back, after watching the 2nd half of the fight... its pretty clear that Loma was taking his time, and not necessarily being befuddled or outboxed. Implementing a bad game plan? Definitely.

But, he was still clearly the more skilled man in the ring by quite a margin. Once he wanted to put hands on Lopez, there was nothing Lopez could do to stop him landing.

Had Loma turned up the heat a round or two earlier, I don't think there would be any discussion about the fight. Lopez would have been another hypejob that Loma took apart with surgical precision.

I feel like a lot of the negative reaction people had to the fight, is that it was extremely clear in the 2nd half of the fight, that Loma could have turned it up much earlier.

Lopez is a good fighter though, not taking anything away from him, but he definitely got lucky that Loma waited so long to turn up the heat in the kitchen.

Loma would decisively win a rematch. He was much better defensively and offensively as a whole in the fight.

Pretty much. I was rooting for Loma, and actually thought he’d win, but he waited too long to get busy. I thought the scores were total bullshit; but, in the end, Lopez deserved the nod. The argument can easily be made for a fix, because there’s no way Teo won by such a wide margin.

I thought I had seen a few rounds where a judge, or two, got in the ring and hit poor Loma... quickly exiting before the ref could object.

A similar thing happened to Max Bauer regarding the ref... He was getting shellacked by Louis and his corner tells Max "thata boy Maxi! this bum can't touch you up!" To which he says "You guys had better watch the ref, cause someone is plastering me from pillar to post!"

Once you take the route Lomachenko is taking, you will never recover. What I mean by that is losing a fight, with the majority of spectators agreeing you lost, and going on record saying you should have won. There's no coming back from that. If you lose, and almost everyone say you lost, you should admit defeat and say you will be back stronger. It's like Lomachenko got beat up, he simply lost due to inactivity. He allowed Lopez to outwork him in 12 rounds. Plain and simple, he fought scared. I predicted Lomachenko would win, I predicted he would school Lopez. I predicted Lomachenko could also beat Lopez via corner stoppage from outclassing so much. None of that happened. Lomachenko stepped in the ring and fought like a scared fighter. A fighter who was going up against some legendary, in his prime, HOF'er. My prediction was based on Lomachenko's amateur and pro resume, Olympic resume, and Lopez's lack of experience at the top level and lack of names. I was dead wrong and Lomachenko fought scared. I wouldn't even call it "fought". He let his hands go in 3-4 rounds and just survived and played defense for the other 8-9 rounds. Just not a good performance at all in his part and the sooner he admits that, the sooner he can start correcting that for a possible rematch.
