  • Comments Thread For: Ramirez: Beterbiev Has Power, But He Hasn't Been In The Ring With Someone Like Me

Gilberto Ramirez realizes Artur Beterbiev is one of the most powerful punchers in all of boxing. The undefeated former WBO super middleweight champion also is confident that the Russian knockout artist hasn't faced anyone like him thus far. If Ramirez defeats Alfonso Lopez on Friday night in Galveston, Texas, he'll remain the WBC's number one contender for Beterbiev's light heavyweight title and could challenge him sometime in 2021.

Beterbiev is 35 years old but has only 15 fights. Talk about a late start

Beterbiev is a freaking beast. I seen him grow up as a fighter in my hometown. Everyone knows how much dangerous he is, since a first day. Zurdo are just a piece of meat in his eyes, he would be devoured raw.

From now on at the dawn of his 36 years, the biggest opponent for Arthur is the clock, who his still undefeated.

I was just thinking that. I saw the price and almost choked. The price isn't bad but he's fighting a regional opponent who's best win is against an ancient and shopworn Denis Grachev. If I'm not mistaken this fight is also on same night as Canelo's fight. If it was half the price and on a night with no other boxing, I might get it but there's no chance as it is.

Beterbiev never will be in the ring with anyone quite like Ramirez....since Ramirez will never grow a pair and face anyone dangerous.
