Hopefully the judges will just score the fight honestly the way they see it without favoring either boxer in the close rounds. Canelo was with Golden boy and Oscar when he got all those very generous scored cards in his favor. There is no proof or evidence that Oscar payed off judges but i suspect he did anyway. I don't trust Oscar and think he would do anything he could get away with to help get a win for his star boxers. The very kind scoring for Canelo was so consistent. Now he is not with Oscar so he may no longer get the generous scoring. It probably won't matter because he probably needs no help to beat Smith.

      Doubt it

Hearn has more to make if he works with Canelo more, which seems likely.

Exactly! I remember seeing that whacked ass ref. Stoppage on the AJ/Takom fight to keep AJ's TKO streak alive...

Canelo isn't going to stay loyal to anyone at this point. He wants to have power and dictate all his moves. I wouldn't be too convinced he will have a deal with Hearn. His next fight or even his next few fights may be on DAZN, but the man is going to go to any network that gives him the best fights. I respect it.

It's boxing. It's possible Callum turns into a werewolf in the 3rd round while being down 0-2 & the ref looks at Canelo & tells him there ain't no rules against a werewolf boxing & commands them to start boxing again.
