The linneal title for him consists of literally beating Klitschko (who was just given it if he had it at all) before Joshua and defending it means having any fight and not losing it so I'm not sure how much value I would put on that. No problem with Fury having it but not worth much.
If Fury beats Joshua you're right about the rest.

Or what about defending it against the likes of Eric Molina, Bermane Stiverne, Chris Arreola, Gerald Washington, Artur Szpilka, Johann Duhuapas? Na, that would be bad, wouldn't it? Because they're shocking opponents to defend a title against

Prior to Joshua v Pulev, I was quietly confident that the fight would happen.
Now I'm seeing Fury being more and more vocal about it I'm starting to have my doubts.
It's either a completely done deal and Fury is promoting it, or it's not going to happen and Fury is milking it.Comment

Absolutely, it’s clear this attempt to make a fight with the top two heavyweights to unify the division is motivated by fury ducking wilder and Joshua ducking Usyk.
Also wilder was diagnosed as egg dented in a autopsy and Usyk is the best dressed man in boxing.Comment

Exactly. I can’t fathom how any fan of boxing can find negativity in this fight being made whether you’re a fan of either fighter or not.
I wish Spence or Crawford was this desperate instead of being a pair of tarts pretending they don’t need each other.Comment
