No one is really at fault they just have different career paths and plans, one thing I will say is that GGG has been fighting at 160 for over a decade, I don't understand why he never wanted to test himself at 168, and probably will never find out.
Even if Canelo makes and settles at 160, Golovkin won't be one of the fights. He might actually go back down and purposely freeze him out.

      This fight will never happen.
i kind of get that same sense...because there was nothing in the ring to suggest canelo is afraid of fighting him again....

i think some people sit back and look at golovkin like this....hbo was in search of a star...and they pushed golovkin hard on everyone...they paid/greenlighted fights for him they wouldnt for most...and yeah his style is friendly and he was knocking them out....but most of them werent good fighters at all.....the media never wondered why he wouldnt consider lara...they never said "why didnt you consider ward when he contacted your team"....they let alot of stuff slide while he was knocking out guys like curtis stevens( stevens lost to jesse brinkley and marcos primera for gods sake).....golovkin never really fought or beat anyone and the media was in love...its because the HBO hype machine got behind him

i honestly just think canelo has little respect for him at this point...he begged canelo to stand in front of him and canelo did it...it was supposed to help golovkin and it didnt...and golovkin still cried

I can still hear those cries. Canelo shouldn't allow any questions about him tonight.
