    Sergey "Krusher" Kovalev (34-3-1, 29 KOs), the former light heavyweight champion the world and one of the most dangerous punchers in recent years, will return against fast-rising knockout artist and Olympic Silver medalist Bektemir "Bully" Melikuziev (6-0, 5 KOs) in a 178-pound catchweight battle scheduled for 12 rounds. The event will take place Saturday, Jan. 30 and will be streamed live exclusively on DAZN in more than 200 countries and territories, including the U.S., Russia and Uzbekistan.

    Kovalev should probably retire, because he is no longer the Krusher. He gave a mildly competitive, but also timid performance against a smaller guy, albeit one of the best in Canelo, and got knocked out.

    He didn't look like the Kov we remembered against Ward, and against Eleider Alvarez in that first fight.

        I'm gonna guess he was HAMMERED DRUNK when he made the comment this is his first step back to a world title. If he wins he gets no cool points for beating the guy with 6 pro fights jumping up 2 weight classes and if he loses he looks like dip $h!t for even fighting again.

                    He’a a shell of the Kovalev that fought Pascal. That version would have destroyed Yarde in under 6, and would have demolished Canelo.
                    This version of Kovalev should retire.
