When it comes to the big fights, belts are not important. It is a prizefighting, not belt fighting. Even if Joshua vacates WBO belt, the winner for vacant WBO title will not be recognized as a true champ.

How is it a duck? If he doesn't fight usyk, dats suspect!!! Both him and Fury can do their mandatory fights in the Spring, then fight in the Summer( that's the only way it makes money in the states due to no popular sports to compete with). They can also piggyback off the Summer Olympics.

Hopefully Aj vacates, usyk did not earn his spot he can get KO'd into retirement by Joyce. That would set up another good matchup between Joyce and AJ/Fury.

And sh^t like I said before keeping all the mando's updated gives you a less interesting resume anyway cuz most mando's aren't great fights. Its better to keep most mando's updated & lose a belt once every few years & then that guy who wins the vacant belt or whoever beats him can be your next big fight for all the belts anyway. I think thats probably a more productive way to look at it from the boxer/promoter POV with how sketchy ABC groups have been, but have gotten more & more in recent years with stripping/adding belts.

Belts build up guys from contenders to title holders who folks will pay more attention to, but once you have built yourself from a title holder into a guy viewed like Fury & AJ have built themselves into or like so many others have built themselves into the fight between two guys of this level matters much more than any belt on the line or not on the line.
