Comments Thread For: Hearn: Fury-Joshua Is A Fight That Eclipses All Belts

There are just some fights in the sport which far exceed any alphabet trinket at stake. Those involved in the biggest heavyweight fight to be made might be forced to put that theory to the test. Handlers for lineal heavyweight champion Tyson Fury and unified titlist Anthony Joshua continue to push forward with talks for a potential all-British heavyweight superfight. For the moment, such a fight would come with every major title at stake, although Joshua's outstanding mandatory title defense obligation with Oleksandr Usyk (18-0, 13KOs) remains a significant hurdle to be cleared.

Just announce AJ v Usyk and shut up. The more he'll dig, the harder will it be to make a segue to "we are fighting Usyk next".

I believe Usyk will be next too I dont see AJ dropping a belt nor do I see Usyk taking step aside money. He believes he can best AJ in the ring even though I'm not seeing it.

If AJ fights Usyk then its a blatant duck.

There's no excuse for AJ not to fight Fury next, f*** the abc belts, they belong to Tyson anyway.

" with a written assurance that he would face the winner." Whether or not Hearn has the best of intentions, his written assurance means nothing. If the COVID-19 disruption has shown anything, it is that random or perhaps not so random events can upset the applecart in ways never imagined. Usyk will choose to do what he desires, but my advice to him is to insist on fighting AJ before AJ fights Fury.

this is foolery and only uk idiots will believe this

anyone notice that neither AJ or frank warren are saying anything
AJ literally has a youtube series titled ROAD TO UNDISPUTED why would he drop all his belts to fight fury

so if he beats fury he has to scramble and try to get them again ? lol

why not do what your contracted to do which is wilder fight fury and aj fight uysk

at this point it looks like fury cheated and really doesnt want to fight wilder fair

Already seen Wider Fury twice , no need to see it again
Usyk v AJ is a mismatch , AJ way too big and powerful for him

AJ Fury is the fight everyone wants to see . Usyk can fight Wider

Firstly if Hearn was banned from adding all these rematch clauses which have no place in a true sport Ruiz would have fought the mandatory last year & Aj would have been back of the line as it should be.
It's fine when the belts keep putting up old mandatory after old mandatory for Aj to keep ducking the top 2 but now his cash cow is finally ready to possibly face a top heavyweight, a world number 1 in his own generation & the belts are now all of a sudden in the way.
Aj only has to fight 3 time's a year & there would be no congestion.
Spoilt silver spoon Hearn once again wants all the cake & to eat it & to write the theme tune play the theme tune......
So Usyk next then, it's actually an intriguing fight.
