I'm thinking this could be Kov's last fight. It's not impossible for Kovalev to win if he fights behind his jab but Bek's body work looks a little too good for me to not pick him here.

I also think Melikuziev might be the best Uzbek prospect. He's not as sloppy as Madrimov or MJ Akhmadaliev.

Kovalev will get knocked out in 7 rounds. If he wins tho I'd love to see him fight Bivol in the end of his 2 fight deal with DAZN

I'd like to see Bivol fight anybody right now tbh. This should be a Golden Boy card but I'm not too sure how many of their guys will be on a Russian card. Will be interesting to see who ends up on the show.

I liked his chances better against a washed Barerra. Will this be at the 180 catchweight? or back to LHW?

Don't be surprise to see Arslanbek Makhmudov as the co-main on this card as Golden Boy has recently signed him to a copromotional deal.

Oh ****, has he? Game over once Mak hits the US. Problem is, nobody is going to fight him unless he becomes a mandatory.

It seems a lil crazy Kov even accepted this fight with a no name guy with so few fights. It's lose lose. He must got money issues &/or the money is great. Kov is at the age he should be fighting name guys or showcase fights vs solidly proven guys. This is a fight where he could make his opponent a superstar.

Bek the Bully ain’t no “no name guy” kid is an Olympian silver medalist and a highly touted prospect. Also in his six pro fights Bek already holds W’s over Clay Collard and Vaughn Alexander something Berlanga or Morrell Jr. wish they had in their resume besides all those bums

Yea yea I know don't try to out hardcore boxing fan dork me bruh, but to Kovalev this is a no name guy who has no upside to him. Thats my point.

This isn't a fight that is a good move for him in any way except a check, which might be all he wants now idk. But this is meant to make Bek a name guy in pro boxing, not a Kov showcase fight as one would except him to be having now if he's not fighting big name guys or top guys. Just a weird ass fight to me.
