Did McGregor win more rounds vs Floyd than Pac, JMM, and Canelo?

Will anyone give credit to McGregor for winning 3-4 rounds vs Mayweather while other all-time greats performed worse than Mayweather?

    McGregor 3-4 rounds won
    Pacquiao 2-3 rounds won
    Canelo 1 round won
    Mosley 1 round won
    JMM 0 rounds won

    Punches landed:
    McGregor 111 (in 9 rounds)
    Canelo 117
    Mosley 92
    Pacquiao 81
    JMM 69

Why was McGregor having success while these all-time greats were getting schooled by Mayweather?

He had success because he actually showed up to win and didn't get scared like Canelo.

It's because of the style Mayweather cose to fight.

We don't point puncher's tactics because if they are controlling the fight then it should end early.

Behind on points and behind on control are different.

Pac, JMM, and Canelo put up better fights. May couldn't simply walk them down. If you're bragging about how much you landed on a man walking you down after you been KO'd by him your a small person who gets excited over small victories.

Floyd said he can't take a hit and focused on that. He's the only Floyd opponent ever to ever just be walked down. No tricks, just squared up Floyd walking right into his best to deliver better.

Conor's the worst Mayweather fight if you're looking for skills and the best Mayweather fight if you want to see Floyd's best rendition of Marciano.

        ****ing god awful

Floyd got shook by the uppercut from Connor. That was the first time he got hurt since the Mosley fight. McGregor put more damage on him than JMM. That's why you saw Floyd passive early on so that he could stay away from Connor's power.

I thought McGregor and Pacquiao had a similar level of success. 2-3 rounds as you say is about right to me.

These other fights you mention were all shutouts in my book.

pac won at least 7 rounds. he was landing the much cleaner punches in that fight. go watch round 7 for example. all the judges gave it to floyd and even a lot of fans did but if you review it now its laughable. its not even close. floyd lands zero power shots in that round. zero. he lands one good head rocking jab and 4-5 very mediocre light left hands thrown with no authority. most of these can hardly be considered clean punches since they made almost no impact on pac but if we have to stretch we can count them. the only other somewhat notable "punch" for floyd is one of those open handed left hands but it landed with no force and if you read the rules...not legal to throw with an open hand. it was more of a push than a punch and thats his second best punch of the round...he would neeed to compeltely shut pac down to win the round based on his lack of quality punches...did he?

pac lands a huge left to the head, a huge left to the body that folds floyd and makes him hold on, another solid left to the head, another solid left to the body so thats 4 traditional power shots to floyds zero right there, then on top of that pac lands 3 head rocking right hand jabs/jab hooks. remember floyd only landed 1 such punch of this quality in the entire round. and on top of all this pac lands 3-4 mediocre floyd like grazing punches so if you count hard clean shots its 7-1 in pacs favor and about 10-5 in pacs favor if you count any tiny little contact so pac has not only the quality but hte quantity advantage...and the judges said he lost this round. a dominant round. the rules say clean punching dont they? the same pattern plays out in most of the rounds. it was like people were hypnotized and couldn't see what was actually transpiring which was pac picking his shots and rocking floyd around while floyd threw stay away from me punches that barely made contact. a strange fight where bias and preconceived notions seemed to rule the day and actual substance was ignored

Conor was the worst fighter Mayweather ever fought. Dude can`t even box. Mayweather just beat him down. How many times have you seen Floyd doing something like that?

Even Berto did it much better, but Berto is actually a boxer and ex world champ.

Guess you missed it when Pac wobbled him against the ropes lol

Floyd was never hurt against Conor and Floyd was legit scared and on point against a 21 yr old green canelo.
