That revenge stuff is for the movies. It won't help him to remember his brother took a beating, He should fight smart and have a good battle plan not fight angry. his brother's loss should not change how he fights.

      Ridiculous to say otherwise.
I’d agree If Smith was able to use his height well and had an imposing jab due to his size but he doesn’t

I never understood why he never developed a jab to match his big physical advantages.

But when you watch his fights and see how easy guys like Ryder and Skoglund got past his jab and able to get to work, then Canelo should have no issues

Smith is better mid distance fighter than at long range, which is the ideal for Canelo.

They will both weigh very close to 168 at the weigh in and Smith might be 2 or 3 pounds heavier in the ring. Weigh is not a factor at all. Skill, speed, power, stamina and chin will determine the winner and Canelo is a huge betting favorite to win. Quit pretending you think Smith might win because you don't think that at all.

You’ve never hit a gym. Canelo isn’t draining to make 168 like Smith. Only a Canelo hater like yourself thinks there’s a 2-3lb difference. Benavidez, Zurdo, Smith... all these guys would dive 20lbs of water. What’s 20+168?

If it is so dangerous why is Canelo at least a 6 to 1 betting favorite? There is a small chance Smith could win but it would be huge upset and a big surprise. Most fights have some danger but this is not a particularly dangerous fight for Canelo and an extremely dangerous fight for Smith. Does anybody pick Smith to win?

Then Don’t worry about it. Just watch GGG vs Szeremeta.

BS. Canelo has an iron jaw. If Smith could KO him he surely would have KOd Ryder You are just building Smith up to make Canelo;s likely win bigger.

You have some weird insecurity to downplay Canelo. You don’t box, I do. Ryder and Canelo have different styles. Ryder’s strategy was excellent. He didn’t Smith any room to load up proper. You have no respect for athleticism either. Ryder is also a stocky guy. To put on that performance for 12 rounds pressuring the bigger guy was A+.

But Canelo is boxer puncher. There’s plenty of range for Smith to land. Canelo needs to be on his A game.

If it was a very dangerous fight for Canelo he would not be at least a 6 to 1 betting favorite to win. It is a very dangerous fight for Smith not Canelo. Canelo has consistently been on his A game for several years now so why would he not be for this fight? Just like the thread starter you are a huge Canelo fan. You only build Smith up to make a Canelo's win over him seem that much better.Beating Smith would be a good win for Canelo but damn near everybody expects Canelo to beat Smith.

Not especially hard, for someone his size you'd expect him to be a bigger puncher. He's not stopped anyone you wouldn't have expected him to

As another poster said he doesn't use his height and reach to his advantage due to his **** trainer. I struggle to imagine a scenario how he wins but hope he can make it interesting
