Golovkin weighed 174 against Rubio on fight night. That means he rehydrated 14lbs. So it GGG didn’t cut water in a LHW fight he would look soft at the scales and the same as Canelo would, right? Whereas Smith cuts about 20lbs of water to hit 168.

So what is the “no big weight difference?” Canelo isn’t draining to make 168 like Smith. I take it Canelo will be the same size as he was in the Kovalev fight. So he’s cutting about 7lbs of water innit? What’s 20 + 168?

There is a height difference not a size difference. They will weigh in at the same lean 168 pounds. Quit trying to make it seem like Canelo is going up hill against a bigger man. They have different builds but weigh the same and boxing has weight classes not height and reach classes. It is two super middleweights fighting with neither man being handicapped. the better super middleweight will win Canelo can fight at close range where Smith's long reach is no longer an advantage.
