Hahaha im dead. Yeah PPL really are very irrational ive learned that first hand with american politics. Anyways GGG was grew but like anyone not named ponce de leon he aint found the fountain of youth so he aged. Mmm step up in conpetion n not knocking en out daily isnt that normal. Add in age or not he beat canelo atleast once in most ppl non biased eyes. Jacobs very durable talented n rangy yet ggg won. GGG aged for sure its normal. Its sad cotto martinez quilon sturm all dodged em for there reasons. Sturm n martinez age cotto was trolling the title with catweights nonstip and quilon jacobs ended that story in rematch im 100% ggg wouldve beat those 4 then what ppl wouldve still b... ****ting cause thats what yall do as keyboard warriors with little to no experience in the ring octagon nor spar sessions.

Bro Canelo was not at his absolute best and ggg learned in both Canelo fights that fighting bums did nothing to prepare him for elite level fights. Your opinion is that in his prime had ATG potential, but the reality was that ggg has been stuck in his comfort zone his entire career and only stepped out of it momentarily for a big paydayComment

Jesus ****ing Christ. So has Canelo entered his prime yet or is he somehow the only 30 year old with 15 years of pro experience to take this long to be "at his absolute best?" He was 27 and 28 years old when he fought Golovkin. He's not ****ing green anymore. Canelo wants to be done fighting by 35 so if he's not in his prime by now, he's going to have a short window before he inevitably starts slowing down.Comment

I think he hit his prime in the Jacobs fight and stamped it by KOing Kovalev. Put any version of ggg vs that version of Canelo and I guarantee you regardless of what you may feel by the very list you can agree Canelo would have been the betting favorite. Which says a lot because ggg was P4P the best rated fighter and a considerable betting favorite for both fightsLast edited by AKAcronym; 12-15-2020, 01:06 PM.Comment

Don't know how it takes a fighter almost 14 years to enter their prime but if that's how you feel then so be it. Canelo had to put on the performance of a lifetime to barely get by in the rematch. I personally don't think Canelo can have that kind of night again. He's defense is always great but I don't think he'll be able to match that output from here on out, especially at higher weights. He's becoming more economical but I think his stamina will go back to what it used to be. It took him a year to be able to give the performance he gave in Golovkin rematch and since then has dropped off dramatically. His power is respectable but I don't think it'll be anything the legit 168 guys haven't seen.Comment

That amateur background can also be a disadvantage. It's a lot of miles on the body. Doesn't matter that they're 3 rounds, that **** adds up. Well GGG wasn't fortunate to be signed to a huge promotional company like Top Rank or Goldenboy. The beginning part of his professional career was halted due to ****ty Universum and essentially turned pro again when he finally got exposure on HBO. I do think Loeffler and HBO could've tried harder but he was pretty much a cheap commodity that was paying good returns for HBO. By the time he started getting good money and there was enough reward for the risk, he was already approaching mid 30's. Easy to look back in hindsight and say he should've done this or that.Comment

And, yeah...50+ fights kinda not enough to mature that procrastinating baby.
Given their age difference (8 years) its impossible for them to fight at their perfect respective primes, you can only find a moment of a trade-off, when Canelo is in his prime and GGG on the slide or GGG in his prime and Canelo is green. The latter was Canelo's scenario with Floyd. The former - with GGG. And GGG still won at least once. Its hard to argue with haters who choose to ignore facts that don't fit their narratives.Comment
