He should be blaming himself for letting a junior middleweight come up to his division and walk him down for 12 rounds. He should be blaming himself for not giving everything he had in the biggest fight of his life. Dude was supposed to be the terminator. The guy who smashes his opponents to Oblivion. Canelo gave him the Mexican style fight he asked for and he turned into Paulie malignaggi.

A lot of golovkin fans just can't accept the fact that he didn't rise to the occasion in the biggest fights of his life. He got a gift vs jacobs. Got beaten down by canelo. Then beaten down again by chenko. That canelo rematch took 20 years off his life. He shoulda went in there and fought instead of trying to jab his way to victory. Golovkin always wanted to be Mexican, but in the biggest fight of his life he turned into a cuban. It's a damn shame.

This reminds me of dude who fought Louis Ortiz other week 😂
He was saying will Ortiz age show and all that. Man got took out within a round. Alexander Flores? Think his name was.

In response to this list you can come with another where 37 proved to be the age when fighters resembled shadows of themselves. Remind me how Mike Tyson was at 34, let alone 37. Age is unique to everyone, Klitschko did amazing at 41. And at 23 Klitschko was uncomparable to Tyson at 23. Everyone matures and getting older differently. There is no standard here, why is this so hard to understand?

There are also degrees of how much age affects you - its typically not over night. At an elite level a slight decline will make a difference. Look at F1 drivers - they are separated by 0.002 seconds some times. Losing only a second might mean nothing to an B-level pilot, but at A+ - it means you are going to lose. Boxing fans leave in a linear black-and-white world. Its time to see shades, colors and think a bit more. And extrapolate this on yourself - surely you can't do the same things at 35 that you did at 25. I can't and I can see the difference. What is there to say about professional athlete who did this day and day out for almost 3 decades.

GGG in his prime had an ATG potential. I don't really care how he does pushing 39. If he legitimately loses by a round to a prime Canelo in their 3rd fight (if it happens), I would say - Jesus, imagine what he would have done to a prime Canelo when GGG was 33.

You recognize a hater by their blatant denial of reality. Of course, he lost to Jacobs, pumpkin. He is just a hyped-up D-level fighter, isn't he?

GGG has had a pointless career, built on trying to be the secondary character in Canelo's career. GGG, for rest of his career, 100% will not fight anyone legit other Canelo.

Excellent post.....these guys act because an extremely small percentage of boxers were able to maintain a degree of success late into their careers, that that should apply to all boxers. The science of the human body factually slowing/breaking down in their 30's will never apply to them doe. These guys will be running just as fast, lifting just as much, boneing down their wifes just as long as they did in their 20's...how and why?? because if 3 all time goats did it out of tens of thousands of boxers, ever then so should everyone, ever!!!...smfh,idiots.

Bro Canelo was not at his absolute best and ggg learned in both Canelo fights that fighting bums did nothing to prepare him for elite level fights. Your opinion is that in his prime had ATG potential, but the reality was that ggg has been stuck in his comfort zone his entire career and only stepped out of it momentarily for a big payday

Jesus ****ing Christ. So has Canelo entered his prime yet or is he somehow the only 30 year old with 15 years of pro experience to take this long to be "at his absolute best?" He was 27 and 28 years old when he fought Golovkin. He's not ****ing green anymore. Canelo wants to be done fighting by 35 so if he's not in his prime by now, he's going to have a short window before he inevitably starts slowing down.
