I swear Spence fans have been posting this exact sentence for years. There have been 100+ 'Spence getting Pac next!' threads from his fans

They always say he'll fight Pac next and Crawford later, but then when it doesn't happen they praise him for facing Thurman's leftovers again

While boxing fans have spent years hoping Spence will go after Crawford, Spence fans instead hope that he targets 41 year old Pac. Year after year of Spence facing guys where we all knew the result going in, do any of his fans actually want him vs the best NEXT rather than always down the line?

I like Danny but he has done crap all at welterweight. He's a very good fighter though so props to Spence for fighting him coming off of the accident and 14 months of inactivity. But let's not make Garcia out as this beast at welterweight when that's far from the truth.

btw the most challenging comeback fight I can think of was past-prime Winky coming back from a 2 year lay-off to face prime Paul Williams. Worst possible style matchup for him to face but he did it. Also faced Quillin even after he realised dude was roiding up and his own promoter was working against him, giant set of balls. But if we're talking guys who won their comeback fight, Spence was impressive in rejecting any easier fight and just going straight back to where he was before the crash

Spence is an amazing fighter. He beats Crawford in my opinion and beats Porter by a wider amount in a rematch. Spence is a complete fighter. A skilled boxer. A great puncher. A body puncher. He has a very high punch output, a big heart and he is a killer.

Vitali after 5 years going straight to face Sam Peter for the WBC Heavyweight Title will always stand out to me.

To me it wasn't so much taking Danny as a tune up fight, because I don't see it as such. Danny is a good fighter and this fight was going to happen even before the car accident. The amazing part to me is he signed up for this fight BEFORE sparring and knowing for sure that he can still take a punch. That is pretty bat sh^t crazy. His team was actually trying to convince him to take on a soft touch and then go after someone like Danny but he refused to do so.
