Golovkin is basic, no frills... just heavy-handed, and reasonably technically correct... his ringIQ/defence are not first-class... just like Kelly Pavlik

Hopkins was highly skilled, with a deep bag of tricks and a crazy ringIQ... he made an art-form out of exposing opponents that were favored to beat him... just like Kelly Pavlik

and you are sleeping on Allen who was skilled with a good amateur pedigree... just because you never heard of him before you checked boxrec does not mean he was a scrub

Danny Jacobs was widely regarded as a hypejob who had been exposed by Pirog, before he became a star by losing to Golovkin lol
So a top level amatuer boxer in Golovkin has “reasonable” technique and I’m assuming that by comparing him to Pavlik (he’s nothing like him) you think he’s one dimensional? . YET Hopkins is this SRR in comparison 🤣🤣 You need to go find another sport kid.

As for Allen I’m proving a point that Golovkin would walk right through him and not need three attempts to do it and if you think Jacobs is a hypejob then what the **** is Robert Allen🤣🤣🤣🤣.

    GGG UD over Hopkins

A 55 yr old “man” going in circles trying to play gotcha instead of taking a couple minutes to articulate his point...smh.

no need... that has already been done

" he was a decent fighter with exceptional athleticism "

      beating Hopkins TWICE was... outstanding

      seriously

Hypekin never did anything like that

and here is the real kicker... Hopkins beat fighters who are BETTER than Hypekin, so you are pushing shlt uphill with a pointed stick

you golov-clowns have made an art-form out of embarrassing yourselves

      Canelo > Hypekin
      Hopkins > Hypekin

        yup, I do

he is straight up and down, no special effects... just like Mayweather said

in terms of career... Hopkins is on a different level than Hypekin

in terms of head-to-head... Hopkins has too many dimensions, and too many ways to win... Golovkin only has one way to win... *in Dolph Lundgren's voice*... "find, break"... but we know you need much more than that to beat Hopkins... Golovkin is not fast/tricky/athletic, like Taylor... he is slow/predictable/basic, like Pavlik

sorry newbie, but this is just another fantasy fight that Hypekin would lose

lucky for you tossers that Hypekin did not have the balls to make those kind of fights for real... or we would not be discussing his fantasy resume, let alone him at all

You lose all credibility in calling a professional fighter “hypekin” it’s like the morons who say “little G”, it’s something a ******ed 10yo would come out with and it’s obvious that you cannot be impartial.

Back on the subject, overall career? Hopkins has had a better one no doubt.

160 career? GGG. Both ruled over weak 160 eras, well not weak but with no other marketable names. Only difference being GGG was never dropped twice and held to a draw off a Colombian coconut salesman like Hopkins was, he never needed 3 fights with Willie Monroe level type opponents in Robert Allen and he lost twice against Taylor.

Again you seem very uneasy in being impartial in the topic.

you are a fkn tool if you think Allen was Willie Monroe level

you got no idea what you are talking about

the fact is, fans/insiders have been criticizing Golovkin since 2014

hell yes he was over-hyped... hell yes did he fail to live up to his OWN hype... hell yes did he fall FAR short of what he promised LMAO

THAT, is why you guys need to embarrass yourselves talking about fantasy fights

Yeah my post was slightly hyperbolic but got the point across

If Bhop had less of a chin they'd have a much better chance. His skill, size and will to win would be too much imo.

A Pavlik fight vs Canelo or GGG is a more interesting hypothetical and probably a much more exciting fight.

Of course would still love to see hypothetical fights between Bhop and the current top middleweights.

Allen was awful he wouldn’t go 4 rounds with GGG, his resume was garbage and Hopkins fought him 3 times🤣 Plus he had to have two fights against the Colombian journeyman to actually win a title.

                  GGG UD Hopkins.
