Hold on Crawford didn’t even want to entertain Porter. He fought Khan who has been knocked out by everyone. He then fought a guy I never heard of and was floored then fought a battle worn Brook. Spence just fought Garcia with no tune up. Crawford got his belt of a school teacher that has yet to win a meaningful fight since the judges robbed Pacquiao. IF Crawford showed the heart to at least fight Porter that would be his 1st legit opponent. Forget Spence
as his level of accomplishment is far too great having already beat Porter, Diaz & Garcia.

It's unfortunate this fight doesn't appear likely to happen. The rival promotions have worked together before (Fury v Wilder), but that was a situation where both fighters needed a big fight and the potential revenue made it worth the effort.

In this situation, Spence has more options and the fight can only be made when the revenue of a live gate can increase the incentive for both parties.
