Is Wlad a much harder single puncher than AJ?

Wlad has rare power. Joshua only very good. Use Pulev as the benchmark.

Wlad is definitely the bigger puncher. AJ has more variety and better combos. Wilders straight right is more powerful than both

If you watch just before he does the same dip to deliver his fluid jabs ,pulev expected a jab for the fourth time in a row or so instead he put everythubg into a left hook

Wlad had so many traps and that one was beautiful

Hard to say....... I reckon they would score similarly on a punching machine but punches depend on how fatigued the opponent is and how they are braced for receiving the punch.

Off balance, not having your feet set or not seeing the punch coming and riding it can make punches seem devastating even when they are short and sharp hooks or jabs.

Joshua has power, and you do not want to be eating many of those uppercuts, hooks or straight rights.

I don't know if I agree. Every time AJ touched Pulev with bad intentions, he hurt him. Wlad's hook was simply more devastating because Pulev did not seeing coming at all. Pulev braced for the punches Joshua hit him with and he still was hurt.

              I'd say quite clearly yes.

AJ can crack but isn't imo at least a true one punch knockout artist.

look at how much cleaner Wlad's punches landed. It may seem that he's a bigger puncher when really he was much more accurate and therefore devastating.

AJ clearly has dynamite in his hands. That one punch KO crap is a bunch of nonsense. Btw, did he not out Whyte to sleep with one punch?

There is a reason he is the only fighter to ever stop Povetkin
The only man to drop titanium chin Ruiz

You don't get frequent one punch KOs when you face top level opposition or top 10 opposition, but Joshua hurts people without even landing cleanly.
