Froch is underrated and yea you are right that it was massive fight.

Spot on on the frank vs Lennox. And I admit, I rooted for Bruno and remember being very cross when Lewis caught him with that left hook after being wobbled by Bruno. Believe me when I tell you gentlemen that there have been two fights in which I lost my voice because of....Bruno vs McCall and Holyfield vs Tyson I
You are absolutely right about the name change, can’t remember his real name but he changed it because of his Mexican fight style and love of Mexican fighters.
He was from Manchester, Alex Arthur was the Scottish lad an upcoming prospect tipped for big things fighting the rugged gatekeeper Gomez in front of partisan crowd in Edinburgh. Even on screen the atmosphere is tense with loads of needle and it’s a great fight.

Ha, I was rooting for Lennox, though I do like Bruno as well, he would have been a better fighter if he’s learnt to take a knee when hurt rather than just freezing on the ropes and shipping continued punishment the way he did in every of his high profile stoppage losses.
I was shouting at the screen myself that night, wasn’t happy with Lewis slow start and Bruno was performing better than I expected. Think he was underestimated by Lewis under the guidance of Pepe Correa.
I had big frank ahead but even before that big left thought Lewis had started to find the range for his jab and targeting Bruno’s closing eye.

Strange strange mentality this island mentality is....someone tell the old country that the “empire” is long dead....
I don’t think our fondness for big domestic show downs is particularly indicative of us living in the past “glory days” (not really a fan of romanticising imperialism personally)
However I will concede that I’ve encountered some people with massive delusions of grandeur about U.K.’s standing globally in modern times regarding the impending cluster funk that is a no deal Brexit. This notion that we’re going to somehow prosper by ostracising ourselves from this enormous trading block and be self sufficient like the good old days baffles me.

I don’t think those who voted for it truly thought past “I don’t want their kind here” and “I don’t want Paris and Berlin telling me how to live”....certainly those are debates to be had but clearly found it alone when we don’t have the basics such as the ships to fish our own waters or the fact that we import more food than export and other than weapons manufacturing we don’t really have any real exports....it ain’t lookin good. I still have business interests back home as well as property, family, and friends.
A deal with Canada isn’t enough....

I've not heard anything for a few months, he & Kathy Jane seem to have a great life, lots of functions/stage shows & he still goes over to Canastota regularly. As far as I know he's also got his BBBofC MC's licence.
