Berlanga vs. Jacobs is special for NYC, just like the Puerto Rican Day Parade is special for NYC! If fans can attend the event in MSG, Jacobs would be perfect opponent! Jacobs got the big money contract and dumped Andre Rozier, now Rozier has a new pupil from Brooklyn, so this would be business and personal! Perfect back story!

You’re all over the place with this, out of context too...

Loma been having belts. Lopez had a belt. Hence, “belt holders” wanting to unify, now or never (during a Pandemic and no crowd) but were coerced since they’d make their money at least. Such circumstance has no relation to the conversation about Jacobs, whom isn’t a belt holder, nor Canelo, who isn’t a belt holder, but is fighting Champions (and or during a time of crowds) to now limited crowds. Berlanga NEEDS better fights then at least the stage of an eliminator. Devin Haney became a belt holder. At the very least you could say Berlanga needs to FIRST get to that stage.

I have know idea? That's not what I do! I watch fights, and evaluate talent! I think Berlanga sleeps Danny Jacobs! What your doing is finding reasons for Jacobs NOT to get that work! Then when Berlanga does NOT get a Top 10 fighter, you'll say, "all he does is fight bums!" There's a whole lot of fighters who saw Loma get that "L" and say to themselves, "it's not worth fighting these young guns!" Nobody is in a rush to fight Boots, Vergil, or Berlanga!

Still on the fence on Berlanga. For all we know he could be just like Felix Verdejo impresses early on in fights but fades in the second half of fights and doesn’t respond well to punches.

With such narratives being said, why don’t you ask for Berlanga vs Charlo? Charlo said he would move up and fight at 168 too. Charlo is also BIG for Middleweight.

Lol. “From the city.” If there was any problems with Rozier and Jacobs it would’ve already been addressed. Berlanga and Rozier would’ve already made that apparent with ESPN sit downs too.
