He needs to take some power off his punches or fight guys with at least a name. It will be a crash and burn if they don't better manage him for the long haul.
Once someone goes past the 1st round i think we'll see him box more. Right now he's just trying to keep the streak alive to build up his brand and name . He's just trying to become a prize fighter . He's been saying June will be the big step up fight so we shall see . Ulises wasn't exactly a bum he was good enough to be a sparring partner for Canelo, Sergey and Ward.

The problem is they are not properly building his stamina in his pro fights and that sets him up to be taken out to the deep blue sea and drown him as history has shown time and time again. They are looking to cash out on him with a big fight otherwise he and his team would be building his stamina and that is seriously suspect at this time.

Sierra’s physique looked poor as expected. That’s the nature of prospect fighters on undercards fighting poor “boxers.” Never heard of Sierra but this guy was just holding a high guard even before Berlanga would swing. You don’t do that against really hard punchers or guys you know whom swing hard. It’s going to rattle the guard and give you crazy whiplash. Seeing how Sierra even made Berlanga miss at times...

It’s just unfortunate that bribes still exist. this Sierra guy would get about a $15k purse I imagine. Imagine the narratives even during a pandemic when everyone is scrumming for money. For Sierra that would be as good as it gets with a pay and at 31 these guys are just filler for general cards. “Hey Sierra, you get an extra $10k if you go down in the first, you know they’re trying to build this kid with 1st round KO’s. Just do your part. Feed ur family.” At the very least just using a high guard provides some level of protection to make it safer. Saw suspect occurrences when GGG fought Wade. Dominic Wade got a $500k purse!!!!! “Domo” was always a tough fighter. Yet he fell on a shoulder smash... those slow motion replays aren’t supposed to happen, and Wade did a fail at the wrong time.

Yawn. Another hyped up prospect knocking a bunch of bums out. Let me know when he fights someone with a pulse

Berlanga vs. Jacobs! Who want that work? It's going to be hard for Arum to get him fights! He ain't ready for Canelo! Arum hates Hearn, so Smith, Saunders, and Andrade are not happening! Plant, Benavidez, Uzcategui, Thompson, Dirrell Bros., with PBC! I can only see Rosado or Jacobs! I think Jacobs' deal with MatchRoom is done, so Jacobs or Rosado would be the targets in my opinion!

Jacobs?! Danny is expensive and accomplished. How do you make Berlanga vs Jacobs? That’s not realistic. Berlanga needs a belt first and foremost. What does Jacobs get fighting Berlanga, or the money to even pay Jacobs?

while it’s possible that Berlanga is not as good as advertised, you think the guy who is the definition of hype job and is a coke snorting quitter is gonna be the one to expose that? Go to bed, you’re drunk.
