Because he's not there to pay homage to Fury by saying he's the only game in town, especially when there is precedence of Fury's flakiness.

He said he'd fight whomever held the title. Nothing's changed there -- he's had a long-stated aim of holding all the belts at once. If it's Tyson, no biggie.

If he says: Tyson's the only fight I want, the only one of any importance, what's the upside? If Tyson fights a Seferi-type nobody again or takes the Wilder rematch or falls out of the sport again, then necessarily Joshua has to fight someone who isn't Fury and then he gets bashed for saying the Fury fight was the only one worth making.
