As for Ruiz, he was no.1 for beating Joshua. So it’s a bit of a cyclical argument - Joshua is held highly because he beat no.1 Ruiz, who beat Joshua. Had Ruiz not smacked Joshua around the ring, he wouldn’t be no.1 and Joshua wouldn’t have a rank 1 win on his resume... kinda giving him credit for his failure there

Klitschko was unranked, as was Fury in 2018. So I’ll accept Parker
You'll accept? Joshua has at least 2 like Fury. These are the facts.

If Klitschko was ranked #2 AFTER the Joshua fight then he would have been before.

Joshua's resume is just superior to Fury's.

Joshua gets more crap for facing mandatories like Pulev and Usyk who would be top 3 names on Fury or Wilders resume than Fury and Wilder will gets for choosing to fight against the likes of Kabayel and helenius. The double standard against AJ are so ridiculous.

AJ does have the better resume. Fury would have a great resume if he beats AJ.

Yeah but Klitschko wasn’t ranked was he, if we’re talking facts

Sure, if you think Parker being your top win makes your resume better. Everyone it entitled to a perspective

Parker and Ruiz if we're talking facts. He has the same amount of top 3 wins and far more top 10. Overall a better quality resume.

Same amount of top 3 wins if we’re counting Ruiz, who was only top 3 because he beat Joshua in the first place. Why should we be rewarding Joshua’s failure? If Joshua won the first fight he’d have 1 less top 3 win

I’m open to your point but not with dumb points like that

Joshua has a wider resume of the 2nd tier names, but Fury has the better wins of the top tier. There’s no right or wrong in what you prioritise

He was a top 3, that's a fact. Do you only want facts if you agree with them? That's not how they work.

Ruiz beating Joshua showed he was a top HW. He got rewarded for winning the rematch.

Wlad was still a top 3 HW and was ranked as such straight after Joshua beat him too.

Joshua has the better resume. CLEARLY.

So Joshua gets more ultimate credit for losing (in devastating fashion) to Ruiz, rather than beating him like he should the first time

Got it. Everyone else ranks him no.2, but hey ho. Think we’re done here so better get your final snark comment in as per NSB ego rules
